PGC athletes have an awesome weekend!

Anne Guzman - 2nd at the GP of udsoJHudson Hudson Pro Road Race
Anne stepped onto the podium for first time this season, at the GP of Hudson, Road Race in Quebec City. She finished second to her teammate. Anne spent nearly the entire race (75k) off the front with different combinations of breakaway companions until finally the mix was right and she, along with her teammate, rode away from the peloton of 50-60 riders.
Great to see all of Anne's hard work starting to pay off as we now enter the "meat" of the season!

Kelly Wathne - 4th Pocatello 50k Trail Run
Kelly completed the Pocatello 50k trail run under epic conditions.  Due to extremely high snow pack (over 200% of normal) an alternative “snow route” was devised, which provided runners with an equally, if not more, challenging run through the mud, snow, water… and a few beautiful dry trails too.  Course adjustments actually made it a 60k run!  Kelly finished in 9:49, over an hour over her projected time.  She finished 4th in her age group.

Tiffany Pezzulo 7th place Ironhorse Classic in Durango, Colorado 3rd Overall in the Omnium
Tiffany placed 7th at the annual Ironhorse Classic against a field that included Mara Abbott and Jeannie Longo!  She made the break of 10 over the first climb.  On the second, steeper climb, she lost contact but was able to catch 2 women on the descent.  Near the top of the last climb, she attacked and soloed in for 7th place!  The next day, she finished 2nd in the crit.  She placed 6th in the final time trial to finish 3rd overall in the omnium.  Podium!  Way to go, Tiff!
