David Yacobelli - 3rd Place Bear Mountain NY Road Race Cat 3
David had a great race at Bear Mountain placing 3rd in the Cat 3 RR.  David explains his race to his coach, ”I am really noticing my stamina and sprinting getting stronger,  I can hang on when others are getting tired and am no longer the worst sprinter in the group.  Thanks for your help. Feels good to be on the podium!”

Mike Rickey – 11th place O'Fallon Gold Cup Cat 3, 6th place masters 40+
Mike raced 2 races at the O'Fallon Gold Cup,cat 3 and masters 40+.  Here is his account of the cat 3 race: Cat 3 race. 45 minutes plus 5 laps. Rode hard and felt pretty good considering I just raced in a breakaway. Went after 2 premes and just missed them by inches. Got 2 teammates off into break. Finished 11th. At the  40+: Masters Race, attacked 6 minutes into the race. Had 3 guys bridge up worked for a while then I started to get gapped by a weaker rider. Fell off but stayed off the main peloton with one other guy. We closed the gap to the leaders from 1:10 to under 30 seconds. Finished 6th.

David Yacobelli - 1st The Tour of Syracuse Road Race Cat. 3
David explains his race, “I had a great RR! got a gap early on the second lap. Was coming into the hilly part of the course and had a strong tailwind. Really put in 100% and created a large gap. Coming back on the loop was extremely windy. Stayed in the drops and focused on breathing and pedal stroke. Ended up winning with a huge gap. That gives me 33/25 points toward a Cat 2 upgrade. I am so psyched. All the work has paid off. Thanks for all of your guidance. It has made a major difference in my confidence and power output. Thanks again Bill.

Jim Breen – 6th place at The Sunapee Road Race  Master’s 45+
Jim took 6th place at The Sunapee Road Race. Sunapee has a two lap course with some serious climbing. Jim toughed out the climbs and realized he was in the top 15. Working hard he moved up from wheel to wheel for his strong finish. Jim’s teammate took the victory so it was a great day for the team. Congrats Jim!
